CMMI Software Consulting and Appraisal
CMMI is a framework and reference standard developed by Software Engineering Institute (SEI) of Carnegie Mellon University for process improvement that provides organizations with the essential elements of effective processes. It is globally recognized as the reference standard of the disciplines of software engineering, system engineering and integrated product development. The rating of CMMI maturity and capability levels marks the competence of an organization. Introduction to CMMI® Course
The Introduction to CMMI Course is the official training product of SEI. With 2 SEI authorized CMMI Instructors, InfoExplorer provide 3 days training for enterprise – wide training.

GAP analysis and action planning (using CMMI® as baseline)

Accomplishments

  • Introduction of CMMI model and SCAMPI appraisal method into Taiwanese IT industry, and translated related materials into Chinese.
  • Translate the standard document of CMMI V1.1, CMMI-DEV into Chinese. The result becomes the official Chinese version of CMMI standard document and is published on SEI Website. The Chinese version is one of the only two official non-English language versions translated with authorization by SEI. The other non-English language version is in Japanese.
  • Provide CMMI implementation related consulting services to incubate Taiwan CMMI consultants for speed up implementation.

Lead appraisers
Ms. Lily Chen
Ms. Lily Chen is a senior consultant of the CMMI Program. She is an SEI authorized CMMI Instructor, SCAMPI Lead Appraiser and is a certified ISO 9000 lead assessor.
Lily has participated in many large scale MIS and ERP system planning and development projects, and was quality lead of the III. Lily was also involved in many software standard development and deployment projects both in government and private sectors.
Lily has experiences with providing training and consultation in implementation CMMI for both local and overseas industries.
Ms. Chao-Pin Lee
Ms. Chao-Pin Lee has 17 years software development and management experience and over six years of experience with model-based improvement. She has many years’ experiences on practical software development and has worked as a project manager for many large scale projects. She is a process consultant, authorized Lead Appraiser for SCAMPI, authorized instructor for the Introduction to CMMI and PSP/TSP course, and SEI affiliate.
